Philicia is the Chief Financial Officer for Morristown Beard School. She is excited to combine her experience as a finance professional with her passion for education. She originally joined MBS as a teacher in the mathematics department and continues to teach Quantitative Business Analysis. However, most of her career was spent in finance, as a Chief Financial Officer for two publicly traded companies.

Philicia earned a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Business Administration from  Harvard University. In the three years prior to joining Morristown Beard School, Philicia taught Mathematics at Kean University in Union where she taught PreCalc for Business and developed a Business Calculus course.

Philicia is the proud parent of a recent Morristown Beard graduate. Outside of school, Philicia’s interests include baking, reading, listening to music and jigsaw puzzles.
