Thank you for supporting the many athletic programs here at Morristown-Beard School. We value all of our fans as members of the community, and strive to make your association with our department a proud one. Whether we are parents, teachers, staff, or simply Crimson supporters, we are all justly proud of the dedication and commitment of our student-athletes.
We encourage participation in athletics because it provides our students with important lessons for life including teamwork, self-discipline, courage and fortitude. Students are encouraged to participate in one of the 20 MBS sports programs during their four years to develop self-confidence, to establish new relationships, to strengthen physical skills, and to acquire a sense of teamwork. Most sports are offered at both varsity and junior varsity levels, giving athletes of all ages and abilities an opportunity to showcase their talents.
At MBS, we believe strongly that all members of the community must model the values we embrace as an institution. Our community has high standards regarding sportsmanship and conduct. We expect our students and coaches to uphold these standards at all times, and I would ask that you, as a spectator, reinforce these standards when attending our athletic contests.
We take great pride in knowing our student-athletes excel on and off the field. Along with numerous championships at the conference, county and state levels, many of our athletes graduate with an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. The MBS Athletic Department is grateful to our parents and members of the Parents Association who provide unwavering support to our students and our athletic programs.
I am very proud of the accomplishments of our athletes, coaches and staff, but most importantly, I am excited for what each new season will bring. Thank you for visiting our site, and I hope you choose to be a part of the Crimson tradition.
Good luck and Go Crimson!
