Interacting with FirstClass from iWorks on Your iPad / iPhone
Apple has posted an excellent article on how to save / retrieve documents from any server that has enabled a particular technology known as WebDAV. Your FirstClass Desktop has this technology enabled. A quick tutorial can be found
here.
Whenever you are asked to sign in to your account, you simply need to use the following settings:
Server: http://fc.mbs.net/Login/
Username: Enter your FirstClass username - e.g. jsmith
Password: Enter your FirstClass password
A YouTube video on how to do this from your computer can be found
here.

Please Note: If you are no longer able to connect to FirstClass, it is because you are using client software that is two or more versions out of sync with our server.
Updates are available on our
download site.
Please Note: Your current FirstClass software cannot be running during the update procedure. If you are running Windows, you will also need to find the FirstClass icon in your
system tray ( located at the right end of your toolbar ), right-click on it and exit FirstClass.
Mac Users: You will need to delete the existing version of FirstClass. Instructions that can help you do that are available at our
Help Desk FAQs. Also be sure to drag your FirstClass
dock icon out of the dock before upgrading.
The current version of the FirstClass client for Mac comes ready to use — no installation necessary. It will download to your usual web downloads folder.
Windows Users: Please note that there are two different versions of the client available on our
download site. The first one is the preferred / latest version; however, it may not install properly if you are running
XP. If you cannot install the preferred version, please install the second version found on our
download site.
Once you've updated your FirstClass client software, you will be able to take advantage of the new indexing features in FirstClass — all message content and document and PDF attachments are fully indexed, providing you with enhanced search capabilities.
