Welcome to Morristown-Beard. We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about us, and we hope that our website serves as your first look at what makes MBS such a special place.
At MBS, we have always believed in offering a relevant, inspiring, and values-driven experience that nurtures and educates the whole person. Excellent academics are key in this equation, and MBS delivers an academic program that provides a challenging curriculum while tailoring our approach to the needs of each child. We also honor the creative, active, and social dimensions of our students by complementing the curriculum with rich arts, athletics, extracurricular and community service programs. Our students thrive in this happy environment where everyone wants them to fulfill their potential as valued members of our warm and dynamic day school community.
Thanks to the School’s welcoming atmosphere, teachers, students, and even their families consider Morristown-Beard to be a second home. In this small school environment (enrollment is 557 in grades 6-12), it’s easy to get to know one another, and familiarity breeds trust, respect, concern and appreciation. Members of the community look out for one another, cheer each other’s successes, and take part in all sorts of activities together, resulting in tremendous Crimson spirit and lifelong friendships.
In order to experience all that MBS has to offer, we encourage you to visit us on campus. We offer group tours on most Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00am, as well as Information Sessions run by the Middle and Upper School Division Heads throughout the fall. Please call the Admission Office at (973) 539-3032 to register for any of these events. If you would like to receive more information about the 2013-2014 application process, please fill out our online inquiry form.
