Congratulations to the MBS boys’ varsity lacrosse team for an outstanding season. The Crimson advanced to the finals of the Non-Public B Tournament for the first time since 2008, and played a very competitive game before falling to Immaculata, 17-13, in Somerville.
Thomas Rago led the Crimson with five goals, while Trevor Baptiste finished with three goals and one assist.
The team finished with a stellar 19-3 record and entered the game ranked 16th in the Star-Ledger’s Top 20.
The MBS boys’ varsity lacrosse team advanced to the finals of the State Tournament following an 8-7 victory over Pingry in the semifinals. The Crimson were led by Thomas Rago who notched a hat trick, and Teddy Hatfield, who had a pair of goals. Trevor Baptiste added a goal and two assists for the Crimson, and also went 16-for-19 on faceoffs.
